二、课程基本要求(或课程简介)

本课程是药学专业的基础课, 采用全英语教学,以英文原版教材作为主要参考教材。其内容上是高中无机化学的补充和提高,同时也是后续有机化学、分析化学、物理化学、生物化学、中药化学以及其它相关专业课程学习的必要的知识基础。

本课程内容主要包括四大化学平衡理论(酸碱平衡、沉淀-溶解平衡、氧化-还原平衡、配位平衡)以及三大结构理论(原子结构、分子结构、配合物结构)两大部分内容。化学平衡理论中的基本知识与理论是后续分析化学中四大滴定法学习的必要的知识铺垫,三大结构理论为后续学习有机化学反应机理以及分析化学波谱分析原理奠定基础。本课程的主要任务是通过本课程的教学,使学生系统地掌握无机化学的基本知识、基本理论、基本方法,使同学们在无机化学学习中受到科学思维的良好训练,提高分析和解决问题的能力。同时,针对本专业培养药学国际人才的目标,本课程采用全英语教学,让学生在英语的环境下学习无机化学的知识,能更好地掌握无机化学基本的专业词汇,为今后的出国学习打下坚实的专业英语基础。

Inorganic chemistry is the professional basic course in pharmaceutical specialty. Full-English-teaching and English educational materials are used in the teaching process. The course is  not only a improvement and supplement for the content in high school, but also one of the essential curriculum for the subsequent basic and specialized courses, such as organic chemistry, analytical chemistry, physical chemistry, biological chemistry , chemistry of T.C.M. and other related professional courses.

The curriculum content mainly includes two parts: four balances (acid-base balance, precipitation-dissolving balance, oxidation-reduction balance and coordination balance) and three structures (atomic structure, molecular structure and the structure of the complexes). The basic knowledge and theory of the four balances is necessary for the learning of the four titration in analytical chemistry. The three structures lay the foundation for the study of the reaction mechanism in organic chemistry and spectrum analysis principle in analytical chemistry. The main task of this course is help the student to master the basic knowledge, basic theory and basic method of inorganic chemistry systematically, train the scientific thinking ability and develop the ability of analyzing and solving problems of the students. At the same time, full-English-teaching method is used in the teaching process to help the student learn inorganic chemistry in English environment and grasp the basic vocabulary better according to the aims of cultivation of international talents in pharmaceutical fields. It will lay a solid foundation of professional English for further study abroad.
